MARCO MIRO AKA DJ PAYROLL

Marco Miro, is a Producer, Remixer, DJ and founder of Good House Keeping Records.  He is a native New Yorker born and raised in the city. He grew up in what is known as the “Golden Era” of dance music, making his way into many legendary clubs like the Tunnel, Limelight, Sound Factory, Palladium, and The Red Zone at the tender age of 15.  This put him in direct contact with the music that would come to define his appetite for house music and the industry. Marco’s sound is very distinct with driving sub base, savory Afro Latin precision, seductive horns,  lush chards  and energetic synths. Many have called his sound raw with a just right amount of fairy dust to create magic. Most recently many have been tossing around the term “Ghetto Fabulous” to describe his sound due to the unconventional musical arrangements that on paper one would think could never work. Then you hear it and are taken back by the clever and witty arrangement that gets your head nodding and body moving.
